A simple side dish for dosas, idlis and even upma. You can grate the coconut for a week and store in the fridge .Then grinding chutney in the morning is easy .
This is the basic coconut chutney.You can add 1 tsp fried gram dal, or a small pinch of tamarind , or one shallot, or 2-3 curry leaves for a variation in taste.
Ingredients
For grinding
Grated coconut _ 1/2 cup
Green chillies _ 2 ( adjust according to your taste )
Salt and Water _ As needed.
For Seasoning
Coconut Oil _ 2 tsp
Mustard _ 1/2 tsp
Red chilly _ 1
Curry Leaves
2. Transfer it to bowl .
3.Add the seasonings to chutney .
