Semiya Halwa / Vermicelli Halwa Recipe

A very very easy .... simple yet very tasty dessert....,an Indian desert which you can prepare with in minutes and doesn't need any planning.

Ingredients

Semiya _ 1 cup
Water _ 2 cup
Sugar _ 3/4 cup
Ghee_ 1 1/2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder(optional) _ 1/4 tsp
Yellow food colour(optional) _ a pinch

1.Roast semiya adding 1/2 tsp ghee.

2.Add 2 cup of water and cook semiya.


3.Once semiya gets cooked, let excess water if any to evaporate .
4. Add sugar and mix well.cook for about 2 min.


5.Now add ghee ,when ghee starts leaving the sides add cardamon powder and roasted nuts .
